Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • User Experience Design: Use your broad background and insights to redefine the UX for a key page of our web application, focusing on enabling a clear set of new functionalities without breaking with the current design concepts, but still by rethinking how this page should work.
  • Interface Design: Create compelling UI designs, including all necessary design elements that are visually appealing and aligned with our current design identity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product management and developers to ensure design concepts are feasible and align with technical constraints. Participate in regular design reviews and be open to feedback to iteratively improve the design.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for the new UX/UI. Conduct quick iterative “show and tell” tests with users and incorporate feedback into your design refinements.
  • Design Handoff: Provide detailed design specifications and assets to the development team, ensuring a smooth transition from design to implementation. Work closely with developers during the implementation phase to address any design-related queries or challenges.

Required Experience:

  • Proven Experience: At least 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, specifically with digital products and web applications. A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and thinking process.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma (the tool we are using). Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles to ensure designs are technically feasible.
  • Research and Testing: Experience in translating (user) feedback into design improvements.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to articulate design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
  • Problem-Solving: A creative problem-solver who can navigate complex design challenges and deliver user-centered solutions.
  • Education: A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
